Maxine Uhrin

Maxine Uhrin, 90, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, in the Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant. She was born March 20, 1931, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Elbert H. and Bessie M. Sullenberger Stouffer. Maxine had formerly been employed at the former Montgomery Wards and she was a member of the Visitation Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Smith, of Scottdale, and Michelle Uhrin, of Mt. Pleasant; son-in-law, Lou Boff, of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren, Robbie Brown, Cherish Hustek and her husband, Brian, Jerry Sechrist, and Charlie and Lexi Sechrist; five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Ethan, Jaret, Rian and Easton; and one sister, Esther Wilson and her husband, James, of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Uhrin, in 2008; son, Richard A. Uhrin Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Boff; brother, James Stouffer; and two sisters, Betty Keto and Jean Pardoe. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the hour of services, Wednesday, at BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666.
