Maxine I. Weber

Maxine I. (Renko) Weber, age 97 of Monroeville, died on Sunday, November 30, 2025 in UPMC East Hospital, Monroeville.

She was born on January 20, 1928 in Finleyville, to the late John and Pauline Renko. Maxine was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Weber; loving mother of Nina Weber, Paul (Dana) Weber, Mark (Molly) Weber, and John (Theresa) Weber; Grandma of Megan (Sahba) Sabeti, Jacob Weber, Adam Weber, and Stephen Weber. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth (LaVerne) Renko.

Maxine was a longtime parishioner of Christ Divine Shepherd Parish - St. Bernadette Church. She retired from Gateway School District after working for many years in the cafeteria of the Junior and Senior high schools, and had delivered Meals-on-Wheels with her late husband, Joe. Maxine was an avid reader, and a lover of the outdoors who enjoyed her daily walks. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the Outer Banks. Maxine handled herself and life with grace. Her contagious laugh, positive outlook on life, and vivacious and outgoing personality will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 3-7 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 10 AM at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish - St. Bernadette Church. Entombment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
