Mrs. Maxine K. White, 73 of Valley, AL passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at EAMC- Opelika.
Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. CST until 6:00 p.m. CST at Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, 1:00 p.m. CST at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in LaFayette, AL (Camp Hill), Pastor Michael Winston, Officiating.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Otis White, Sr.; her children: Phil (Magan) King of Cusseta, AL, LaTonya Pollard of Valley, AL, Jackie White of Valley, AL, Carolyn White Jenkins of Valley, AL, and Otis White, Jr. of Gadsden, AL; two brothers, Charles (Ethel) King of LaFayette, AL and Clifford (Beeanetta) Heard of Gadsden, AL; five sisters, Doris Faye (Willie) Brown of Valley, AL, Linda (Denard) Burney of Auburn, AL, Shasta Darden of Cusseta, AL, Helen Turner of Montgomery, AL, and Debra Phillips of Lanett, AL; two brothers-in-law, Willie James Mackey of Gadsden, AL and Vonzie Whitlow of Detroit, MI; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Jean (Ivy) McClaster of Detroit, MI; 13 grandchildren: Starkeria Smith, Amber King, Admere King, Kendal King, LaKeidreion White, Anquaevious Pollard, Labriya Askew, Jaliyah Neblett, Regina Dozier, Tiffenie Dozier, Barret Dozier, Candace Wright, and Lacretia Wright; 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, one aunt, Eyvonne Martin of LaFayette, AL; one great-aunt, Thelma Franklin of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
