My grandma Jewel lived next door to him for 20+ years. I grew up with Max around. Over the summer I helped him put his air conditioner in and deweeded his yard. He wanted to pay me but I refused to take his money. I just sat and kept him company for a couple hours. He will be truly missed. My prayers go out to his family.
