Mayda Arpine Baghdoian

Mayda Arpine Baghdoian January 10, 1934 - November 18, 2025

Mayda was born in Athens Greece and was orphaned in childhood. She came to the US in her late teens initially settling in Michigan where she met the love of her life. She quickly enrolled in cosmetology school and worked as a hair stylist for 70 years. She moved to South Florida with her husband and three young children for the remainder of her life. She eventually moved to the beach when her children were grown. She absolutely loved her beach! She was a people person and never met a stranger.

Mayda is survived by her daughters Linda Lowman (Joseph) and Lori Summerlin; and a grandson Jason Summerlin. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth, son Kevin, and granddaughter Paige Lowman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund, and organization very special to Mayda. This organization supports our nation's heroes in Florida by providing life-changing dental care and urgent financial assistance to wounded and disabled veterans.
