I ran for office with Tom when I ran for City Council. From then on we were friends and colleagues. He was a good Mayor and will be missed.

I was a cub scout with Tom's brother Eric and my mother was the den mother. I have fond memories of those days. I met Tom on several occasions when I would spend the night at the Henry's home. Hey Eric I still remember your dog Nuggets.

I first met Tom when he and I attended Central Catholic High School together. We were both in the graduating class of 1970. We had some mutual friends which resulted in us also occasionally seeing each other outside of school. Tom was always a kind and friendly person. Years later I would run into him and Cindy off and on since we didn't live very far from each other. My twin sons fished at his pond now and then, too. Tom's brother married my next door neighbor's daughter and I babysat for his brother's daughter and son for several years. And when I went back to work after my boys grew up, I also got to know more of Tom's brother's since they were customers of mine. So what I'm saying is that I got to know a lot of Tom's family over the years and they are all just as kind and caring as Tom was. My heart goes out to all of Tom's family and friends. It is so sad that he and Cindy have been taken so soon. Much too young. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. May our loving God hold you all in His hands and help you through your loss. Let all the happy memories ease the grief that is in your hearts. Tom and Cindy are now your angels in heaven looking over you.
My Sincere Condolences,
Debbie Panyard McLaughlin
