Mee Hong Obituary
She was renowned for her Mahjong skills, her love for children and her giving nature. Her love language was giving - all those red envelopes, the many secret "you take this" and the not-so-secret bags upon bags of food.
Mee worked as a teacher aide until well into her 80s, pouring out her love on the children she interacted with. They knew her as Grandma Mee. Her children and grandchildren knew this love well and will cherish many precious memories.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry and her oldest grandchild. She leaves behind her four children: Joy, Young (Marjan), Sam (Mingtzong), and Hazel.; eight grandchildren: Joy (Wasiu), Alex (Ashley), Marcus (Sarah), Christian (Susannah), Nathan, Megan (Tom), Allison (Boyd), and Maggie (Kit); fourteen great-grandchildren: D'Andre, Gregory, Ava, Anna, Abigail, Matthijs, Sammie, Addie, Ellie, Hank, Liddie, Mindy, Roman, and Mila.
Private family services will be held.
