Meg Elizabeth (nèe Neimi) Cross, a remarkable individual whose presence was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2023, surrounded by family, at her home in Kingsville, TX at the age of 67. She was born July 7, 1956, in Juneau, Alaska. She served in the United States Navy for 3 years as a radioman 3rd Class. It was in the Navy, she met and married Michael Shawn Cross. After the Navy Meg worked as the Commodore secretary for 20 years at NAS Kingsville with Air Wing 2. Meg loved all kinds of animals, visiting friends, and going to Renaissance Fairs. Although Meg has departed this world, her legacy lives on in the hearts of her surviving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Shawn Cross.
Among those left to cherish her memory are her sons Michael A. Cross and Brian C. Cross; and grandchildren.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Meg touched are invited to the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary at 205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363, on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 11:00 am for the celebration of her life.
