Megan Mae Rainsburg (39) of Kinsman, Il suddenly passed away in her home on Monday, November 10, 2025.
Born in Morris, Il on December 27, 1985 to John Rainsburg and Carolyn Dober.
Megan graduated from Seneca High School. She had her beloved son Evan “Beezer” Eplin. She enjoyed reading, connecting with nature, going for a ride on her Harley, listening to Poison and Bob Marley, and soaking up the sun any chance she could get. She was a caring, kind-hearted, bubbly, daddy’s girl who loved her farmhouse.
She is surviving by her son, Evan Eplin; her siblings Katie Rainsburg, Nicole Clark, and Troy Clark; her niece, Scarlet Wagner; her mother, Carolyn Dober; her boyfriend, Shawn “Highway” Matheny; her beloved dog, Sweetie Mae; and extended family; Roger, Tammie, Cassie, Alex, Tia, Wylder, Weylyn Eplin, Stephanie Clark, Michelle and William Childers, and Anna Wierzbicki.
She is proceeded in death with her father, John Rainsburg; and Dogs Tyson and Tiggy.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Streator. Pallbearers will be Megan’s family and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of service 12:00 Noon Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Megan’s son, Evan Eplin.
