Megan Marie Rodgers, 34, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Megan was born on March 17, 1991, in Valparaiso, IN, to Arthur R. Myers and Carla J. Novreske.
On August 24, 2019, in Chesterton, IN, she married Christopher who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Carla Novreske of La Porte; in-laws, Mark (Patricia) Rodgers of La Porte; grandfather, Pete Rodgers of Elkhart; uncles, Kevin Novreske of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Jim Klingler of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Peter (Beth Whitted) Rodgers of Bexley, OH, and John (JiYeon) Rodgers of Yuma, AZ; aunts, Kimberly (Mike Wallin) Brown of La Porte, Dawn (Douglas) Tharp of La Porte, Pamela (Jeffrey) Sobczyk of San Diego, CA, and Julie (Guy) Van Arsdale of South Bend; brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Angela) Rodgers of San Diego, CA; niece, Luna Rodgers; dear cousins; as well as her beloved church family.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandmother, Anita Rodgers; and grandparents, Louis (Janice) Pinkerton and Liston (Barbara) Brown.
Megan was a caregiver. She was a member of Journey Church. Megan found great joy in serving others.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Nick Bello officiating.
A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
