I love you mom. I miss you a lot. This life isn't the same without you. My beautiful, outgoing, caring, brave, gorgeous mama. How blessed am I to have known you and get to claim you with the title as My Mother. I will honor your name Mom and I am going to make you so proud. Because of you I will be brave, outgoing, and live through you vicariously and fearlessly to endure this life to the fullest. I will scream it from the roof tops at the top of my lungs for the whole world to hear that I LOVE YOU MOM I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU

Megan was my best friend growing up. We lived next door to each other. We played in the woods and the creek behind our houses. We rode horses together all over the neighborhood. She was a great friend and always up for adventure. We went to church and were baptized together along with her little sister. We attended lots of youth functions and trips. The most memorable being a trip to Tennessee where we stayed in a college dorm room and were roommates. We laughed, we cried, we got in lots of arguments but always stayed friends. When she moved to Arkansas, it wasn't as easy to stay in touch as it is now, but she would show up at my house every couple of years and we would pick up right were we left off. She brought her girls a few times but I don't know if they would remember, they were young. My deepest sympathies go out to them and Megan's family. Its hard to think you will never show up at my door for a surprise visit again but I know we will see each other again. Until then, I will miss you!

Hey Mama, you're heavy on my heart today. I miss you a lot. This life isn't the same without you. I keep asking myself "Is she really gone?". There's no way I just never get to see you again... I miss you mom. You were supposed to see me get married one day, and one day have my own children. Gosh I miss you so bad. I love you Mom. The best Mom ever. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner.

We were friends for many years. Sometimes months would go by without us talking, it seems like when the big stuff happened in life, we called, texted and sometimes met to talk things out. Through rough times in life. I can say she was always proud of her girls. Even during chaos of raising teens/young adults. I heard about the arguments but more questioning her parenting, than what had caused the problems. She was proud she raised beautiful ladies, Inside and outside. Stronger than her, and that is what we strive for as a parent.

When I wake in the mornings, I always take a walk through my house. This morning I realized why. Growing up, Mom was normally awake before me. I knew in the morning when I heard the coffee pot straining its last bit of grounds to the filter, My momma was awake. I´d glance into her room, then walk down my hallway, and find my momma where she would always be, on the front porch steps, singing and humming a song, with a cup of coffee(NO sugar, use milk as the creamer) close nearby. I´d always go out and sit with her. We would talk about theweather, our dogs, and she´d ask me what my daily plans and ideas were with the large number of horses she would always let me have, if I had any plans with my friends, and I´d ask about hers.
This morning, 9.20.2025, i got out of bed, walked down my hallway, got to the kitchen and poured myself a cup of coffee, and I went out and sat on my front porch steps. With my Momma on my mind, I realized I am now in her shoes, doing the daily thing she loved most - Her Morning Peace. It put a smile on my face. I hope one day I feel so free and at peace that I, too, will sing in the mornings, on my front porch, with my coffee. I love you Mom. I miss you. So dearly.
You are so beautiful.
-My momma, on the front porch, with her coffee.-

Megan and I were childhood friends and playmates. We stayed at one another´s houses, riding bikes back and forth since we were a stones throw from each other. And her sister Terry was my aunt that lived next door and kept me when I was a little girl. The connection and our friendship was deep like only innocent little girls really can be. She was truly an artist and I was always so proud of her talent. She always had amazing creative energy. I´m so sad she´s gone too soon. Rest in peace Megan

Megan was a very dear friend to me. We grew up together through school and remained very close friends even after she moved to Arkansas. We haven´t kept in touch as much the last 12 years but every time we talked it was as though we had just talked the day before. We would always pick right up where we left off. The last times we talked were about wanting to plan a visit to see each other but we unfortunately didn´t get to. I can still hear her voice and see her contagious and silly smile. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. I can´t believe my friend is gone. I love her so and my heart is broken. Aivyn, Mattie, Casey, Mrs. Margaret you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
