Melanie Clair Brasseaux Janies Obituary

At the request of family, visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Quirk & Son. On Monday visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Eunice from 8:00 AM until time of Services.
Melanie had a love of and a gift for baking. Her Cakes were well known for bringing in a handsome amount during fund raisers and her church auctions. She was dearly loved by all her knew her.
Melanie is survived by her husband, Darin "Kirk" Janies; her dog, Lola; her brother-in-law, Dana Janies and his wife Shondala; two sisters, Mary Labbie and her husband, Glen, Patricia Aguillard and her husband Merrick; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce and Mable Higginbotham Brasseaux.
