Melanie Elkins Obituary
Melanie Ann Elkins, 13, passed away June 12, 2023. She was born January 8, 2010 in Akron the daughter of David Fast and the late Whitney A. Elkins. Melanie was innocent to this world and just a good kid. She loved drawing and her artwork. She enjoyed her video games, playing with her bird and the family pets, and putting on makeup. In addition to her late mother, she is preceded in death by her grandmother Theresa Fast. Melanie is survived by her father David Fast; sisters Natalie Richter and Troyanna Elkins; grandmother Rhonda Elkins; grandfather Roger Bibey; great aunt Sandy Edwards; as well as many family and friends. The family will receive friends 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM Tuesday, June 20, 2023, where funeral services will immediately follow at 3:30 PM. Pastor Dwayne Ray will officiate. Any contributions to help offset funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.

I remember meeting Melanie and her grandmother, Theresa at her elementary school, where I worked. She had the biggest brightest eye. She always said Mrs. Strickling find me the hardest book you got in this school cuz I can read it!!! I loved her personality,her heart, and how much love she had for others
