Funeral services for Melba Sue Lowe, 82, of Willis, Texas will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Larry Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Melba was born November 11, 1943, in Tatum, Texas and passed away January 12, 2026, in Willis, Texas. Melba Sue Lowe attended Tatum High School in Tatum, TX; where she spent most of her younger years before finding the love of her life for 63 years, Raymond "Cotton" Lowe. Melba was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a hard worker, retired from Eckard's in Conroe after 25+ years. She loved the holidays, especially Christmas; where she enjoyed cooking and crafting. Melba was one of the most extravagated crafters alive. She enjoyed making wreaths, sewing and ceramics. She is preceded in death by her parents, Levi Vice and Ruby Mae (Brown) Vice; grandson, Jason Norris; sisters, Hattie Rue Schultz, Dorothy Nell Snook, and Patsy Lou Woods; and brothers, Robert Moses Vice and Aubrey Lee Vice.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond "Cotton" Lowe; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Kay Norris and Bubba; daughter, Rhonda Michelle Wells; son and daughter-in-law, Raymond Lowe and Lisa; grandchildren, Stormie Flowers and Cody, Dylan Fortner, Raymond "Ray" Lowe, Ashley & David Coile, Chloe Lowe; and great grandchildren, Olivia Lowe and Hudson Coile; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
