Melba Lamone Maddon

Melba Lamone Maddon age 89 of Danville, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Johnson County Health and Rehab Center. She was born March 6, 1936 in Danville, Arkansas to the late John Gentry Keener and Esther Barnett Keener. Melba was a member of the Centerville Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clint Maddon; daughter, Betty (Tene) Domerese and her siblings, Lester, Manuel, Lonnie and Troy Keener, Eloshia Robison, Evie Ann Smith and Mary Jane Ballinger.

Survivors include her daughter, Jean Maddon; grandchildren, Jarlen Maddon, Jeorge Hitchcock, John Freeman, Jimmy Freeman, Terri Sullins and fourteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will held Friday, January 2, 2026, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M. Friday at the chapel following visitation with Rev. Jeremy Bull officiating. Burial will be in Upper Spring Creek Cemetery in Danville.
