On behalf of the Prayer Shawl Ministry of St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church, I'd like to express our condolences to Melba's family. She was also one of our spiritual family, crocheting hundreds of prayer shawls and lap blankets for those who were sick or grieving and just needed the comforting hug of a prayer shawl. She also made hundreds of hats and scarves for our homeless ministry to bring warmth and comfort to those on the street. Melba was a loving and giving soul who was always concerned for those less fortunate and through her talents brought the peace and the love of Christ with her gifts. She will be greatly missed, but we know she is sharing the heavenly peace and joy our Lord promises to those who love Him. Well done, good and faithful servant! Memory Eternal!

With our sympathies,
Pam Toundas, Rev. Dr. Nicholas Louh and
the St. John the Divine Prayer Shawl Ministry
