Melba Baldwin Tumlinson

Melba Baldwin Tumlinson 79 of Dale, Texas passed away on November 22, 2025, in her home with loved ones.

Melba was born in Terrell, Texas on September 14, 1946, to Hubert and Jaunita (Clemons) Baldwin.

Melba worked all her working years doing bookkeeping and she retired from Sames Ford in Bastrop Texas.

Melba got married after graduation and started her family and raised her children in Kaufman at Red Oak Community. Later in life she married Ronnie Tumlinson on March 7, 2007 and moved to South Texas, and later settled in Dale, Texas.

Melba was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Jaunita, brothers Tommy Baldwin and Delbert Baldwin, daughter Nancy Mitchell, and stepson Ronnie Tumlinson.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Ronnie Tumlinson, her children Jackie Bass and Rodney Bass both of Kaufman, Texas; daughter Janette Haywood of Maryville, Tennessee; stepdaughter Amy Elzonda and husband Manuel of Webber, Texas; brothers Glen Baldwin and wife Beverly of Wills Point, Texas, Allen Baldwin of Kaufman, Texas, sisters Nita Rand and Paula Cox both of Kaufman, Texas; grandchildren Clayton Bass, Kyle Haywood and wife Caroline, Kurtis Haywood and wife Beth, Clay Haywood and wife Rachel, Ashley Tumlinson, Savanna Elzonda, Jaclyn Parker and Skylar Tumlinson; greatgrandchildren Sylvia, Warren, Emmett and Diane.
