Melbourne Darrell Field was born on June 19, 1934, and passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025.
Darrell was a man of remarkable skill and generosity — he could fix anything and would help anyone who needed a hand. His talents and willingness to assist others left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He took great joy in working in his yard, caring for his beloved dogs, and savoring simple pleasures — especially eating cookies. These moments reflected his warm heart and the gentle way he embraced life.
Darrell’s kindness and friendly spirit will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
