It was nice talking with you last night. I am very sorry to hear about Uncle. It has been a while since I seen him, but I can still remember him as if it were yesterday. I wish that I could be there. Please be strong and may God guide you during this time of need. Right now, both your Mom and Dad, and my mom, along with Uncle Tony are all looking over us. Please take care.

Melanie, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I know how painful it was for me when my Dad passed. From my family to yours you have our deepest sympathy and prayers for strength. The article in the newspaper was a great tribute to your Dad's sacrifice/service to the USA. I didn't know he was a POW and survived the Bataan Death March. Your Dad must have been one tough man to survive through that "hell on earth"! Not only did you have a great and wonderful father, he had an equally great and wonderful daughter. You took your Dad everywhere, so he would have some fun and entertainment, like to the casinos or any place he wanted.And you took care of him when he became sick and the goal was to make his last days as comfortable and peaceful as possible .You take care Melanie and call me anytime if you need to talk.

Sorry to hear about your dad passing away. Our deepest sympathy. It has been over a year since my dad passed away and I miss him very much. Read your article on your dad in the Stockton Record and it was very nice and interesting. I have been retired since January and love it very much. I may show up at the funeral. Memories of our fond friendship began when Melanie & our children, Rose & Dale, were dancers of the Sampaguita Dance Troupe,during the 70-80's. We had fun tagging along & cheering for our kids' perfect performances.Bro. Melecio & Sis. Angie were special in our hearts.They belonged to Worshipful Liberty Lodge #140 & they'll be missed.
