Melinda Gatlin: My friend, my neighbor, part of my family. Melinda´s kids call me Aunt Stephanie and Mine call her Aunt Melinda. She will never be forgotten. We love you Cedric, Terry, Jr., and Darnell. Your mom had a heart of Gold and was a guardian angel to many. She now has her wings. Rest in Heaven my friend. We will miss you.

I remember so many wonderful conversations and laughter we shared. I remember your faithfulness and confidence as you prayed and brought comfort and care to others during troubled times. I've known you as a truly good person, a cherished coworker and great friend. May your children, grandchildren and Reggie continue being blessed. May your mother and brother be comforted. I´m saddened to see you go, but so grateful to have known you.

I am honored to have called you momma, my beautiful Mother-in-love! Thank you for raising the man I love and showing him what amazing strength is, as it's one of his many qualities. I genuinely thank you for not being a meddling Mother-in-love and the unconditional love. You welcomed me into the family from day one along with my boys and never made us feel like strangers. Your smile, hugs, and kisses will forever be missed. We will make sure that memories of you last forever I love you always.

My dear beautiful friend, Melinda Gatlin. It was my pleasure to have met Melinda at work (VALIC) over 30 years ago and continued to be friends until God called her from labor to rest. She will surely be missed, but we will can hold on to all the special memories we shared with her over the years. Praying peace and comfort to Melinda´s three sons, beautiful mother, and the entire family.
