Melinda always lived life to the fullest and made it a priority to always put others before herself. She was a beloved educator who touched countless lives through her unwavering belief in the potential of every student. She dedicated over 45 years to shaping young minds through her work as the Director of Little Red School House in Crescent Springs and Taylor Mill as well as at local elementary schools, and nannying former teacher’s children following her retirement. She was proud of her Welsh heritage and loved watching UK basketball and FC Cincinnati. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Middendorf Funeral Home on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the Prayer Service begins at 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery. A celebration of life reception for family and friends will be held at Greyhound Tavern following the burial.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to continue her legacy of prioritizing education and please consider a monetary donation to 9th District Elementary School 2800 Indiana Ave, Covington, KY 41015 where Melinda began her love of education. Checks can be made payable to 9th District Elementary and can be sent directly to the school or brought to the service and we will deliver them collectively.
