To every time there is a season, A time to every purpose under heaven, A time to be born & A time to die. Even though we know death is inevitable, it's still a shock to our systems, especially when it's a child of your own at any age.

My daughter, Melissa Robin Borja, was 59 years old when she answered God's call on May 7, 2025. A more worthy spirit of selflessness and loving kindness would not be easy to find. Always counting herself as last, she put everyone's wants and needs before her own. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and her family moved to Texas while she was a baby. Texas was home in her heart. She was a natural caregiver who loved older folks and animals, especially dogs. She considered them to be family. Melissa fed and cared for strays of all kinds. She had every animal from a crippled chicken to a three - legged cat. She was an avid collector of trinket boxes. All the while, she was suffering from collective damage from cancer and R.S.D. I can say honestly, she gave far more than she ever received. Thank the Lord for ending her pain. Melissa will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew her.
