Melissa was born on February 11, 1962 and passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Melissa was a resident of Morganton, North Carolina at the time of passing. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Second Baptist Church in Cherryville with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating. Burial will follow in the Webbs Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Good Neighbor Shop, 116 S. Academy Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to the charity of one's choice.
