Melissa, I think of you often and say a prayer for your family (especially your children). I ask our heavenly Father to keep them safely in his loving arms and continue to care for them always. Your short time here on earth has left a beautiful forever mark on many lives. I miss you.

It's been a year since we last endured that warm smile, that light up the room personality, those words of wisdom as only you can delivery.
Seems like only yesterday we were planning our agenda for 2017.
I know you are popping Yale leaders on theirs heads and yelling at them to
SETTLE THAT DAMN CONTRACT. You work on them from above and we'll continue to work on them from down here, and together we'll win as we have so many times before. we miss you but will never forget you......

On this day 11/23/16, I take time to remember my lovely friend & union sister, Melissa. I think of you often, and pray that your family is stronger than ever and your children shall be productive, successful, happy people in this world, because of the bright light you left them to follow.

I am so sorry for the unexpected passing of colleague and friend. I will always remember her kind heart, big smile, love for her family and passion to help others along with her husband.
My heart is very heavy with sadness. I wish you all strength and great memories during this difficult time.

You were a great person I knew you since we were teens it was great growing up and seeing you blossom into a wonderful mother and important part of our community from inspiring parents and children to just maintaining such a beautiful smile. You will be missed my friend.

My Heartfelt Sympathies go out to the Wilkerson, Dawkins and Doumbia families! Melissa will be greatly missed!!! She was a lovely young woman who was positive, spirited and an incredibly devoted mother!!! I'm so sorry I missed her Celebration of Life. My deepest condolences to all of you who cherished her, and my prayers that memories of times shared will bring you peace.

I did not know your loved one personally, but I am a employee of Yale University and a member of the union. When one of our own is hurt, sick or passes away it effects us all.
