Melissa Gail Grayson

Melissa Gail Grayson, 49, of Louisville, passed away June 9, 2023. Melissa will be remembered as a hard worker, selfless with a big heart and a carefree spirit, and always laughing. She loved vacationing with her family and being in the ocean. She enjoyed cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, betting on horse races and especially playing roulette at the casino. She was an eleven year employee of General Electric, and was a former employee of Cracker Barrel for fifteen years.
Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Cherry Knott; her sister, Debbie Combs; and her grandson, Grayson Posante. She is survived by her daughters, Alex Grayson and Jessica Posante(Stephen). She was a mother to her two great nieces, Aubrey and Addison Graham; and she was Meme to her beloved granddaughter, Collins Grace Posante. Melissa is also survived by her siblings, Lynn Watson, Gene Fisher, Junior Watson, and Rayenell Strong; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12pm Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Friday and 10am-12pm Saturday at the funeral home.
