Melissa Tarbox Obituary
Tarbox, Melissa Ann, 32, a former Residence Counselor for Job Corps, died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at home. She was the beloved daughter of Frederick J. and Kristine A. (Fanning) Tarbox, fiancée of Danny Edmiston; sister of Jennifer Lynn McAlpine, and Frederick J. Tarbox, Jr.; aunt of Leanne K. and Danielle J. McAlpine; Frederick J. III and Thomas C. Tarbox; granddaughter of Barbara Fanning and the late Charles A. Fanning, Jr., James and Doris Tarbox. Melissa was a graduate of Coventry High School and Southern Vermont College in Bennington, VT where she received her BS in Psychology.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9AM from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane at 10 AM. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Flowers are welcome or contributions to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 2374 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
