I was a sorority sister of Melissa and just thought the world of her and her sister Lindora. My memories are of a beautiful young woman, full of life and wonder. God's peace be with all of you.

I am saddened to hear of Melissa's passing. I have fond memories of her, especially of the excitement she brought to my pajama party when we were 12 years old. Although I had not remained in contact with her since graduating high school, I know that she was loved and deeply admired. Please know that I am thinking of you all at this time.
