Melissa is always cheerful, ready to support a friend/colleague, and is very caring. She´s the very first person who inspired me to pursue my passion in volunteering and being part of the leadership in the local chapter (since Az to CA). I will treasure her hugs forever. Her last text message to me and Linnea was on 5/2/2022 giving us "big hugs"! In pictures with Melissa-left photo: CAB leaders & me at the center in light blue dress and

So very sorry for your loss. I only had the occasional chance to connect with Melissa at work, but I enjoyed every conversation we had. She was so full of warmth and always ready with helpful advice. I hope your memories will be a comfort to you.

Melissa was a joy to work with and a wealth of knowledge about everything. In the short time, we worked together on the Innovation project she always brought such remarkable unity to our team, with her questions and keen insight, and positive attitude! She will surely be missed.

I worked with Melissa as an ACDIS volunteer. She was always cheerful, professional, warm and friendly. She brought peace and energy to our meetings. I will miss her greatly.
For Melissa:
From human touch to God's embrace,
From human life to human memory,
From Love to Love,
It's a short step, a brief and blessed journey.
May you, Melissa's family and friends, have peace and comfort. ~Kay Piper

The world is dimmer without Melissa in it. I initially hired Melissa at HCPro and she quickly became a good friend and confidant. I enjoyed talking to her about writing and product ideas while starting the day with a cup of tea.
I was lucky enough to travel with her to Miami, Orlando and Las Vegas. I was even with her on her first business trip. I remember walking her through what kind of luggage she needed, how to print her boarding pass and how to find her luggage at baggage claim. She approached this challenge with enthusiasm and was soon a seasoned traveler.
When I remember Melissa, I´ll always picture her smile, her garden full of wildflowers and her red convertible with the top down. Her passion for her job and life was infectious and I am a better person for having known her.

I have no words. Your joy for life, living for the moment, compassion and love for everyone around you - it´s incomparable. I will miss you. I will miss hearing your contagious laugh. And making every ACDIS conference memorable. I know you´re in a better place. But I still wish you were here.
To the Varnavas family - my deepest condolences. My heart is with you, as well as my prayers.

I worked with Melissa for 15 years. I would stop by her cubicle if I ever came across something that was her type of humor. God, she had great humor. Stopping by and chatting with Melissa was rejuvenating. She grounded you, she was real. And every work event had her great laugh in the background. Such a loss, my sincerest condolences.

I worked with Melissa at Simplify Compliance and was always impressed with her enthusiasm for her work. It was contagious and as a co-worker, I was excited because she was excited. She brought fun to the projects we worked on with her. Hugs to her family and close friends. She will be missed by her Simplify Compliance family.

Melissa was one of my first friends at the College of New Rochelle. I loved her hippie soul and free spirit which has stayed with me throughout the years. I am a better woman for having known her smile and laughter. My deepest and sincere condolences to her family.
