Melissa Ann Walkoviak, 54, of Comanche TX, passed from this life at her home surrounded by love ones October 30, 2025. Arrangements are being handled by Heartland Funeral Cremation of Comanche. The family will honor her life in a Memorial, 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 12, 2025 at Haven of Hope Church, 2202 Center Ave, Brownwood, TX, Brian Hall officiating. Melissa Ann (Walkoviak) Watson (Missy) was born November 5, 1970 in Brownwood, TX to Jimmy Carroll and Marie Diane (Guthrie) Watson. Missy married Danny Walkoviak in Brownwood TX February 19, 2000. She completed her education by obtaining a GED and then attending Commercial College in the Secretarial School and made career as a secretary being employed by the Brownwood Hospital along side Mary Harwell, and Comanche County Medical Center in numerous departments before retiring due to disabilities. She attended Haven of Hope Church. She greatly enjoyed spending time with the family for gatherings, spending time with grandbabies, and nieces/nephews. She enjoyed playing bingo, casino games, camping, fishing, and collecting pigs. Melissa is survived by her husband of 25 years, Danny Walkoviak; Children, Shawn wife Chelsea Walkoviak of Comanche, Ashley husband Josh Cisneroz of DeLeon; mother, Marie Diane Guthrie; Step-Mother Raylene Watson brothers/sisters, Seleste and Kevin Bond of Brownwood, Jimmy Ray and Christi Watson of Coleman, Billy Don Guthrie Jr. and wife Tina of Port La Vaca, Renee and Mike Scandura of Rockport; Grandchildren, Macey Cisneroz, Lucas and Kaydith Walkoviak; stepmother Raylene Watson, Rhonda and Esley Trowbridge(sister/brother-in-law). She was preceded in death by Father Jim Watson, Billy Guthrie (step Dad), William Watson (Brother), (grandchild) Paizlee Cisneroz, Stephanie, Eric Walkoviak (stepchildren), Stephon Don Kessinger (nephew), numerous aunts, uncles, and other family members.
