Melita Mixson Obituary
Melita passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Born in Lugoff, SC, she was the daughter of the late Midlred Graves Team and John Wiley Team.
Melita is survived by her daughters, Gray Mixson of Charleston and Melita Melichar (Mark) of Columbia; her son, Ben Mixson of Columbia; granddaughter, Eliza Hock (William) of Anchorage, AK; sister-in-law, Linda Team of Columbia; niece, Catherine Team Sturm; great-grandchildren, Benji and Jonah Hock; and great-niece, Kate Sturm.
In addition to her parents, Melita was predeceased by her brother, John "Jack" Wiley Team.
Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
