In Loving Memory Of
Melva Wildfeuer
Melva Jean Wildfeuer, the daughter of Melvin and Shirley (Bauer) Swenhaugen, was born on May 25, 1957 in Tyler, MN. She grew up in rural Slayton and attended school in Slayton, graduating from the Slayton High School in 1975. Melva was united in marriage to Roger Wildfeuer on October 18, 1975 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fulda. After their marriage they lived in Fulda. Melva worked as a TMA/CNA at the Slayton Manor for many years. She would also fill in for the laundry department when needed. Melva passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the Our House Hospice Home of Murray County in Slayton at the age of 67. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed puzzles, word searches, crocheting, flowers, gardening, going for long walks, sitting outside on the deck and spending time with her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Wildfeuer of Fulda, MN; 2 children, Delly (Ricci) Wildfeuer of Currie, MN and Wendy (Derrick Platt) Wildfeuer of Iona, MN; 8 grandchildren, Autumn, Alex, Madisen, Trinity, Andrew, Tucker, Emily and Asher; 3 great-grandchildren, Gunner, Grayson and Elliot (and one on the way) and 2 sisters, Julie (Bill) Stofferan and Sheryl Boreboom. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Justin and sister, Doretta Swenhaugen.
Funeral Services
St. Paul's Lutheran Church Fulda, MN at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 25, 2025 with Rev. Shawn Ethridge officiating. The organist is Dr. Tiffany Hurst. The pallbearers are Autumn Wildfeuer, Madisen Wildfeuer, Trinity Wildfeuer, Alex Wildfeuer, Kyle Mclain and Tucker Henderson. Interment at Slayton Memorial Gardens Slayton, MN.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements.
