September 23, 2025

GRAY - Melva Wyatt, 93, of the Gray community, passed away on Tuesday morning, September 23, 2025 at her home after a period of declining health. She was born to the late John and Clara (Buckingham) Jackson. Melva was a member of Greenvale Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Melva was preceded in death by her siblings, John, Hurley, Jim, Bobby, Margaret, and Evelyn.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Wyatt (Robert Carter), Nancy Wyatt (Bill Rosenbaum); and bonus daughter, Beverly Davis White.

The Wyatt family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be Friday, September 25, 2025, in Mountain Home National Cemetery beginning at 10:00 a.m.
