Melvin E. Baker, Jr., Little Chute, age 82, died Monday, October 20, 2025, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. He was born in Kentucky on September 17, 1943, to the late Melvin E. and Carla P. (Barker) Baker, Sr. He retired from Badger Northland.

Melvin is survived by his children: Sandra (James) Starr, Kaukauna; Patrick Baker, Little Chute; and Scott (Mindy) Baker, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Bradley (Sara) Starr, Sheboygan; Holly (Bradley) Verhovec, Homer, OH; Phillip Starr, Kaukauna; Robbie, Jamiee, and Carlee Baker, Kaukauna; and great granddaughter, Olivia Starr. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceded in death by his siblings: Robert (Keith) Baker and Linda (Donnie) Brinkman.

In accordance with his wishes, a private family burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
