In Loving Memory of Melvin Bantilan Melvin Baguio Bantilan passed away on July 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 66. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Antoinette, and their five children: Conrad, Tylor, Shelby, Logan, and Mahina. He was a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren, and a beloved brother to six siblings. Born on O ahu and raised in Maui, Melvin was known not just for his skills as an auto insurance appraiser and repairman, but for his generous heart and unwavering dedication to those around him. He approached life with quiet strength, a deep love for his family, and a fisherman's patience and peace. To know Melvin was to feel seen, cared for, and welcomed. Whether through a shared story, a helping hand, or a day out on the water, he built a life full of meaning and connection. His presence was a gift to all who knew him. Services will be held at Maui Lani LDS Church on Saturday, August 2. Viewing from 9:00–11:00 a.m., with the funeral service from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Melvin will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
