Melvin Dolan Obituary
Melvin "Butch" Leroy Dolan, age 80, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Born on April 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Fern and Wallace Theubit.
He was a truck driver starting at Miles Peck Trucking (Top Rock), and worked for many other trucking companies and repair shops. Butch retired from Tom Edwards Trucking of North East, PA. In his retirement, he delivered newspapers for the Erie Times-News.
He is survived by his sisters, Barbra Aprin (Rich) and Lois Manning (John), and his sons, Patrick Dolan (Lori Anna) and Dale Dolan (Missy).
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Dolan; his sisters, Janice Holmes and Patty Lonyo, and his daughter, Wendy Rock.
He will be greatly missed by his two dogs, Puppy Pup and Charlie.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses, or to the Anna Shelter, 1555 E. 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
