Family and Friends Tribute
To Melvin from Your Sisters
You never said I'm leaving; you never said goodbye; you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still, in my heart I hold a place that only you can fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone, a part of me went with you, the day God took you home.
To Melvin from your Children
In our hearts we thought of you today, but that is nothing new we thought about you yesterday and days before that too. We think of you in silence and often speak your names, now all we have are memories and pictures in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, of which we'll never part, God has you in his keeping, we have you in our heart.
To Melvin from Carla
The moment that you left me, my heart was split in two, one side was filled with memories; The other side died with you. I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep; and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. Remembering you is easy, I do it every day; but missing you is a heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain; you see life has gone on without you but will never be the same.
