Although we never had a chance to meet, a lot of who I am reminds me of you.

One Sunday morning in March 1995, in a fit of tax frustration I phoned Mel... and he answered the phone, and invited me over to his office and he took care of me. He always treated me like an old friend and did incredibly professional work. There are very few people in my professional life who I will remember forever, but Mel is one. I am saddened by this news and I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Mels family. I didnt know Mel nor had I met him. I did however meet a lot of his clients. He was loved by all of them. He was so good to them and never ever said no to anyone. He would have helped the world if he could. He was one of the good guys. May your memories shadow the sadness and bring a smile to your heart when you think of him.
