Melvin F. Lang

Melvin "Mel" F. Lang, 87, of Murrysville, died Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Beloved husband of Beverly Lang for 47 wonderful and adventure-filled years. Father of Jeffrey Lang. Brother of Joyce (Eugene) Corl. Loving and adoring Pap Pap to Alexandra (Ryan), Shelby, Cassandra and Joseph. Great-grandfather "Pap" to Vincent, Nathan, and Kendal. He will also be remembered by cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends. Mel was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mary Lang. Mel was a paratrooper in the United States Army from 1954 to 1957. After serving in the military, he went on to get his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Law from Robert Morris University. He then went on to work as an Accountant for 44 years. Friends and family received on Monday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747), where a funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
