A kind and charming man, he inspired us, and his smile brightened the moment. He will always be remembered.

Menahem was a dear friend and my teacher for more than thirty years. He taught me that the piano does not need to be a percussive instrument. The piano can sing, laugh, and cry.

Rest In Peace, Menahem. Your memory is a blessing.

When I was in high school Menahem Pressler and colleagues in the Beaux Art Trio provided me with my first exposure to classical music. I have not forgotten that amazing moment even though it was 65 years ago.
