Mercedes D. Christie

I had the privilege of working with Mercedes. She was such sweet and caring person. She will be greatly missed by many.

I remember we all played together when I came to visit Pam and Val in Muskegon. She was always fun and kind and inclusive. She was a brave and lovely soul, even as a child. Her idea of all of us little 6 and 7 year olds laying down on the road on our way to go buy candy still terrifies me to this day though! LOL.

I am sorry she passed so early in her life. I am sure her children miss her sparkle.

Mom, I love you more than words can express. Your passing was far and away one of the most difficult and devastating moments in my life. I never once imagined I´d be penning your obituary but I hope I get the opportunity to host two events in Michigan so that the people who knew and loved you can have one last chance to pay their respects. Losing you is, and will always be, one of the worst moments in my life. You were Kerry´s best friend and that´s how he will always describe you. You will forever remain a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. You loved us like Christ loved the Church. I´ll always remember you and I will always love you.
