Merilee A. (Brown) Beisner, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, October 20, 2025, age 86, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, OH. She was born December 31, 1938, to Robert and Laurice Brown, in Montpelier, Ohio. She graduated from Ft. Wayne International Business College, Ft. Wayne, IN, where she met her future husband, Larry G. Beisner. The pair married September 5, 1959, at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Montpelier, OH, and were grateful to have celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2009, prior to his passing February 2014.
Merilee retired from Marathon Oil Company and Bridge Home Health and Hospice, but her work ethic didn't end there. She would go on to volunteer through the church and Bridge Home Health & Hospice for many years. She held the biggest heart! In her lifetime, Merilee defined her life's devotion as the three F's: Faith, Family and Friends. Her family will admirably add a fourth: Fifty North. She could be one of the top 10 best advocates for 50N in the entire area! She utilized the facility regularly for the likes of yoga, wellness and socialization (with emphasis on socializing), prior to health issues slowing her down in late 2024.
Merilee was a proud girl Mom! She is survived by her three daughters: Beth Beisner, Franklin, OH; Sheri (Scott) Burnside; and Lisa (Jeff) Click, both from Findlay, OH. Grandchildren: Alyssa Click, Cody Burnside and Austin Click. Great grandchildren: Hadley, Harper and Hayes Decker.
Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with their heart and soul, there is no such thing as separation. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2025 at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Findlay, where visitatiion will be held 2 hours (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.) prior to the service. A private family burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay.
Arrangements are being handled by COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.
