Merle B. "R.J." Merreighn III, 47, of Decatur, IL, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025 in his home. Friends and Family are invited to R.J.'s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be Monday, November 10, 2025, from 12 pm to 2 pm at O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home in Quincy, IL. Burial will follow in Arenzville North Cemetery in Arenzville, IL.

My heart is totally broken for the loss of Merle he was such a wonderful unique person and amazing friend love him always will cherish the memories that I have with him and all the laughs so sorry for your loss to his family and friends he will be sadly missed
