Merlin Juilfs

I'm sorry I did not make the services at the church for Merlin. He was always such a gentleman as I served with him at the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office for decades. I am confident that I'll see him again, and will meanwhile keep him and you in my prayers, that you (his family) will find peace and hope into your future! John Cannon MCSO, retired

I started out at Multnomah County Sheriff's Office working with and then for Merlin in the Planning & Research office. I remember his even temper and ability to listen. His kindness was exemplified the day I managed to rub a huge edema in my eye. He said "Call your doctor; I'm taking you." and he did. A life well-lived in the Lord.

I worked Butch at the sheriffs office. I learned that he was a great guy and had a great sense of humor. Each year I would give him grief because he was so much older than me, because his birthday was the day before mine! He will surely be missed. My condolences to you Sarah and your family.
