Nick King, 78 years old, of Hooksett, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Pheasant Wood Center in Peterborough, NH. He was born in Farmington, NH and raised in Lynn, MA. He was the son of the late Wendell P. and Sadie (Chase) King. Nick was a Vietnam Veteran from serving in the US Army.
Nick was a proud member of the Derry VFW Post 1617 in Derry, NH. He enjoyed fishing whenever he was able. He was a huge fan of watching the Boston Red Sox and NE Patriots.
Nick is survived by his wife, Cindy King of Hooksett, NH; his daughter Christina Jones of Seattle, WA and his grandchildren, Heather, Summer, Anthony, and Wallace Jr., all of Seattle. Also, his Stepdaughter, Paula Wilson, Son in Law Jim Perier. His granddaughter, Kaylee Wilson, and lastly his great grandchildren, Ryan, Bella, and Christina. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Barbara Cole, Eleanor Thibideau, and Carol Johnson.
There will be a Celebration of his Life on October 26, 2025, at 1pm at the VFW Derry Post 1617 for Friends and Family.
Burial will be privately held at the NH State Veterans Cemetery.
