My sister and I spent time with Mervin for a lot of fun years . Mervin went with us many times on vacation to Florida for tournaments with the Carter Distributing's Miller Lite Women's softball team. He was on several dart teams with us at the Red Lantern and Merv's restaurants. He was a dear and precious friend who we loved tremendously. We will always have wonderful memories of his sense of humor and continue to laugh about some of the pranks he pulled over on us. We will miss him greatly and are sending our deepest sympathy to his family.

My brothers and sisters remember Mervin when he and his mother moved to St. Elmo. His mother, was our mother's best friend and neighbor. We pray God's comfort and peace on the Reed family.
