I am stunned by the passing of Mike. We talked often about his home town of Pittsburgh. He was a real joy to have here in Texas. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Alder family. Rest in Peace, Mike.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I was looking forward to seeing him again and to catch up on his life at our annual party this February in Scott Township. I knew he would bring something delicious for us all to eat and would give us updates and news of his children that he loved so much. I will miss his surprise stops on Saturday mornings. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Mike

Mike worked hard, had an off-beat sense of humor, and kept all of his staff feeling appreciated. He made us want to work harder and be better at our jobs. All of us at Austin/Round Rock just loved him. Every time I see a guy in a yellow shirt walk out of Mike's office, I instinctively glance up to see if it is him. I am sure I speak on behalf of all of my co-workers when I say we will always miss him terribly. Vaya con Dios, Amigo.

Michael you will be missed, these past days have been hard, can't believe it just the other day you where talking about working out. My condolences to the Alder family; Michael talked about his family with lots of joy & love. He was proud to show pictures of all his kids and care about them so much.

Mike and I kind of moved to Texas at the same time. We both livid in the same hotel for a few weeks.. I was so happy he joined us in Round rock IKEA. What a super great guy, we ate some great steaks together while we sat in that hotel.. I will Miss you Mike , you will always be Pittsburgh Mike to me.. God bless .. Paul. IKEA

I read the Pittsburgh obituaries every weekend,and was totally shocked to see Michael's name. What happened? We hope his passing was not painful. We know he was a great comfort to you when Buddy passed, and you will miss him terribly. Our thoughts are with you, Joanne, and the family. He was too young to go.
