This left me in utter shock to say the least. I met Mike at Hershey, we've swapped license plates a few times, we've helped each other out. Always on good terms. He would help other collectors by ordering Military plates he qualified for. I always admired his military career as I could never do something like that. His service to our country exemplary.

Mike used to come into my shop because I had a lot of military stuff and we would talk about being in service... He actually gave me a poster of himself because he was a recruiter at the time. But the best part is, he restored a 500 lb bomb and brought it into show me. Naturally I ask them how much you wanted for it, but he didn't want to sell. He really did an excellent job on the restoration, and eventually did sell it to me. The bomb is now paired with a restored B-25 bomber that is on display at the Reading air show every year, among other places.
Mike was a good man, and my prayers go out to his family...
