Michael "Mickey" Berry, age 60 of Lenoir City went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2024. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mickey grew up in Loudon. He was a member of Walk By Faith Christian Church. After accepting Jesus in his heart, Mickey accepted the call of God to preach and teach. He retired from Elm Hill Meats where he drove a tractor trailer for 35 years across America. He enjoyed riding horses, but his favorite past times were working on old cars and tractors. His greatest passion was riding motorcycles.
Preceded in death by his parents, George and Janice Berry; brother, George Berry Jr. "Junior"; grandmother, Pauline Galyon; father-in-law, Bob Sowders. Survived by his wife, Ellen Berry; daughter, Stephanie Holt; sons, Matthew Berry (Lacy) and Jacob Berry; grandchildren: Canaan, Jaelyn and Ford Berry; sisters, Lisa and Debbie; mother-in-law, Sandra Sowders; sister-in-law, Leanna Thurman (Scott); brother-in-law, Jim Sowders (Tammy); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by his fur baby, Bandit who loved riding on a scooter and golf cart with Mickey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 16th at Walk By Faith Christian Church, 3437 Industrial Park, Lenoir City, TN 37771. Pastor Steve Kirby will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Walk By Faith Christian Church.
