Michael Bertino Obituary
Born on December 18th, 1967, passed away on Sunday night, April 13, 2025 at University of Chicago Hospital after a courageous battle with his loving family by his side. He worked as a Teamster Local 179 at Narvick Brothers Construction for 20 plus years.
Graduated from Joliet Catholic in 1986. Shortly after met his wife Kimberly Raspolich Bertino and started his family. Mike enjoyed lighting off fireworks, grilling, jamming to Led Zeppelin and being outside with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his mother Barbara Bertino, brother James (Pam) Bertino, and best friend Roger McDaniel.
Survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kimberly Raspolich Bertino; 3 beautiful daughters, Rudi Ann Bertino, Sara Joan Bertino and Jessica Elaine Bertino; his father James Bertino and sisters, Mary Claire (Kurt) Miller, Lory (Dominic) Vella, Tara-Sue (Matthew) Petersen, and brother Jon (Laurie Conway) Bertino and longtime friend Frank Iasillo.
Visitation for Michael P. Bertino will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory, 2320 Black Road, on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 10 to 2 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to a charity of your choice in Michael's name or donations to the families gofundme.
