Michael Allen Boblett

Michael Allen Boblett, age 74 of Springfield, KY, passed away at 12:26 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Springfield Nursing and Rehab Center.

A native of Washington County, he was born August 7, 1951 in Lebanon, KY to the late Clarence "Coney" and Billie Jewell Terrell Boblett.

He was a 1970 graduate of Washington County High School and a retired employee of General Electric.

Preceding him in death was a son, Corey Allen Boblett on February 15, 1991 and his sister, Sherry Adams on November 24, 2024.

Survivors include two daughters, Shawna Bodine (David) of Willisburg and Cora Boblett of Shepherdsville; a son Jared Boblett of Springfield; six grandchildren, Courtney Garland (Derek), Madison Russell (Derek), Kaylee Bodine, Aubree Boblett, Dalton Boblett and Hunter Boblett; three great grandchildren, Christine and Bennett Russell and Beth Thomas; a brother, Greg Boblett of Springfield; a special caregiver, Crystal Boblett Arnold and a special friend, Anedra Barrett.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Creech officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Greg Boblett, Dalton Boblett and Aubree Boblett.

Serving as casket bearers will be Jared Boblett, David Bodine, John Boblett, Darrell Boblett, Derek Garland and Houston Walls.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 on Sunday, February 8th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 10:00 Monday morning.
